Rebecca Johnson Tomerlin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Johnson Tomerlin (Meridian, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rebecca shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rebecca farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Johnson and Caroline Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Tomerlin; her brother Coleman Johnson; her son Lloyd Mayatt; her stepdaughter Alisha Parker (Kenny); and her grandchildren, Kennedy Parker and Mason Parker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (5050 MS-19, Meridian, MS 39307). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The Tomerlin Family kindly requests donations be made to the ALS Association or to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund in Becky's honor in lieu of flowers.
