He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Jones; his parents, Ernest Fleming Jones and Janie Louise Boswell; and his siblings, Edna Mae Walker, Mary Monsour, Sarah Trainham, Bill, Jimmy "Jim Bob", Mattie Culpepper, Roscoe, Gordan, Lee, Julian, Harvey and Coleman Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal, Phillip, Michael and Robert Jr.; and his siblings, Barbara Creekmore, Sybil McCain, Bessie Perry, Margaret Patrick and Tom Jones.
