He was predeceased by: his parents, JD Belk and Corrie Belk; his son Jimmy Belk; and his grandchildren, Ashley Belk and Josh Belk.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Wayne Belk, Jr. (Michelle), Jason Belk (Jenna), David Belk (Stephanie) and Jennifer Cannon (Josh); his grandchildren, Robert Wayne "Trey" Belk, III (Emilie), Dylan Belk (Anna), Lauren Belk, Landon Belk, Joshlyn Belk, Rylee Belk, J. D. Belk and Pippa Cannon; his great grandchildren, Raelynn Belk and Kinsley Belk; and his siblings, Joe Belk, Durwood Belk (Dianne), Ann Williams, Polly Spivey and Sue Cockerham (James Earl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The Belk familiy suggests memorials be made as donations to Linwood Baptist Church, 11980 CR 325 Union, MS 39365 c/o Mr. Carl Mason in lieu of flowers.
