He was predeceased by: his father John Tommye Duett; and his grandparents, Pressley, Ruth McMullen, Edgar and Irene Duett.
He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Inez McMullen Duett; his brothers, John Tommye "Timmy" Duett, Jr. (Patti Smith Duett) and Rusty Adams; his siblings' children, Chelsea Duett Barber (Austin), Brandon Adams and Jonah Adams; and his great-nephews, John Austin Barber and Hagan Barber.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sharing memorial contributions with the Special Olympics.
