He was predeceased by: his parents, Sula Mae and JC Gardner; his sister Linda; and his sister-in-law Dixie (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Gardner; his sons, David (Elizabeth) and Robert; his brothers, Donnie (Joan) and Johnny (Sissy); his siblings-in-law, Dean (Wanda) and Lisa (Rusty); and his uncle Boswell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests donations to the Northwest Florida State Community College Foundation, with the designation of the Dixie Ferguson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
