She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Johnson and Edna Johnson (Kinard Smith); her husband Jackie T. Ethridge; her brother David Thead; and her brother-in-law George Marshall.
She is survived by: her sister Laura Marshall; her sister-in-law Jeannie Thead; her niece Laura; her nephew Martin; and her cousins, Kendall Kinard (Ann), Carol Kinard Graham and Wilma Kinard Pierce. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
