With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Haguewood of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sylvester Mosley and Ruth May Mosley; her husband Benjamin Eugene Haguewood, Sr. (Buddy); and her brother Charles Robert Mosley. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Fulks (Richard), Sondra Nelson (Robert), Delia Labutka (David), Gene Haguewood and Lisa Sollie (Scott); her grandchildren, Ramona Pipes (Russell), Drusilla Fulks-Haner, Solisa Mathews (Teddy), Helms Fulks, Royce Fulks, Quenna Botkin (Landon), Christopher Nelson (Cari), Benjamin Nelson, Samantha Couch (Scott), Justin Sollie (Abby) and Jeremy Sollie; her great grandchildren, Austin Pipes (Tiffany), Alex Pipes, Reese Botkin, Isabel Nelson, Xavier Nelson and Marley Sollie; and her great great grandchild Elijah Pipes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Central United Methodist Church and Friends of the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library.
