She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Edwards and Velma Spickard Edwards; her siblings, Marie Alexander (Olan), Mary Alice Atkison (Wesley P.) and R. L. Edwards, Jr. (Virginia); and her nephew Wesley Atkison.
She is survived by: her husband Richard D. James; her caregivers, Danny, Faith Anderson, Bessie Gale and Jennifer Collins; and her nephews, Roy Price, Jr., Mike Thomas, Kenneth Counts, Murray Edwards, Eddie Alexander and Danny Alexander. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
