Shelia Lemons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelia Lemons of Meridian, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2026 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Faye Collins and Gordon Collins; and her siblings, Johnny Lemons, Nan Lemons and Ray Lemons.
She is survived by: her significant other Lorae Carter; and her siblings, Linda Wilkerson, Jimmy Lemons (Isabel), Sherry Leggett (Bo), Debbie Mattox, Gloria Cokel (Kris) and Charles Collins (Jamie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) and/or Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida. Make a donation to one of the following charities in remembrance of Shelia Lemons.
