She was predeceased by: her parents, J. A. Murphy and Annie Murphy; her brothers, James Jr. Murphy (Mildred) and Bobby Murphy (Glenda); and the father of her children Leroy Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Carr (Russell) and Donna Nester (Donald); her grandchildren, Stacey Davis (Bobby) of Pasadena, TX, Allen Carr (Kelly), Lesley Jenkins (Terry), Jessica Hamburg (Mac) of Ocean Springs, MS and Cody Nester of Long Beach, MS.; her great grandchildren, Carson Boutwell, Micah, Elizabeth, Rachel, Abigail Carr, Jack, Tedder Davis, Kobe, Karter Jenkins, Leo and Rosalie Hamburg; and her siblings, Cecil Murphy (Dot), Wallace Murphy and Martha Richards of Ventura, CA..
