He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Buchanan and Laverne Kennedy Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Boykin Buchanan; his children, Sean Buchanan (Kristy), Jana Burchfield (Jacob), Randall Boykin and Ryan Boykin (Meghan); and his grandchildren, Kennedy, Payne Buchanan, Connor, Cooper Burchfield, Avery, Aiden Boykin, Trevor Ishee and Hunter Taylor.
