He was predeceased by: his wife Shelby Pace; his parents, Christine Pace and John Roy Pace; his sister Katie Traylor; and his brother-in-law Rev. Tolbert Traylor.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wayne Pace (Elaine) and Linda Jean Gibson (Gary Lamar II); and his grandchildren, Lamar, Jonathan and Madison Gibson.
