With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William L. Rainer Jr. of Meridian, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Rainer and Mildred Rainer; the mother of his children Martha Rainer; his uncle C. P. Maxwell; and his aunt Katherine Maxwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Pierce (Phil), Lisa Gipson and Sandy Rainer; his granddaughter Katherine Gipson; his great grandchild Ryder Larson; his brother Charles E. Rainer; and his cousin Ann M. Watts.
