She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Brand; her parents, Curtis Barnacastle and Evelyn Barnacastle; her nephews, Paul Brand and Jeffrey Barnacastle; her sister Pauline; and her brothers-in-law, Cecil Goodin, Ronald Posey and Truman Brand.
She is survived by: her daughter DeLisa; her grandson Kade; and her siblings, Lynn Posey, Lois Brand and Curtis Barnacastle (Peggy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; and close friends.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, and/or the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) in Virginia's honor.
