With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Rayner Meyer (Merigold, Mississippi), who passed away on February 26, 2026 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Rayner and Sue Rayner; her husband John Jacob Meyer; her son Jon Rayner Meyer; and her sister Sue Latham (Billy).

She is survived by: her children, Susan Meyer Anderson (Doug), Jim Field Meyer (Mitsi) and Edgar Bingham Meyer (Louise); her daughter-in-law Cindy Allen; and her grandchildren, Katherine Meyer Patterson (Chris Blaine), Clayton Anderson (Megan), Johnathan Anderson, Laura Anderson Walbert (BJ), Daniel Meyer Anderson (Lindsey), Jason Meyer (Jana), John Latham Meyer (Rebekah), Edgar Rayner Meyer, Caleb Pilgrim, Trippe Pilgrim (Neely), Harris Meyer and Jessica Jarvis (Chris). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

Miss Cack requests donations be made to The Wesley Foundation 904 S. Court St. Cleveland, MS, 38732 and/or Merigold Methodist Church PO Box 364 Merigold MS 38759.
