He was predeceased by: his parents, John Green, Sr. and Patsy Williamson Green; and his sister Nechelle English. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Ann Hill (Robert); his siblings, John Green (Jessie), Marsha Quinn, Vickie Yelverton and Kelleigh Wilson; and his grandchildren, Trevor Ainsworth, Marleigh Ainsworth and Natalie Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
