He is survived by : his sons, Damion Hegwood (Monica) of Taylorsville and Josh Hegwood (Cheyenne) of Taylorsville; his stepdaughter Brandy Craft of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Hegwood, Gabriella Hegwood, Luke Hegwood, Kinsley Marie Hegwood, Riley Leann Hegwood, Wayland Hegwood, Reagan Hegwood, Grace Craft and Lyla Johnson; his brother Lyn Hegwood; his sister-in-law Joann Hegwood; and his caregivers, Nelda Freeman, Nicole Little and Carla McNease. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
