He is survived by: his wife Pam Buchanan; his daughters, Charlie Lawrence and Tessa Thames (Michael); his stepson Gabe Wood; his grandchildren, Kirstie Lawrence, Grace Martin (Tanner), Alyssa Thames (Devin), Steven Thames and Scarlet Thames; his great grandchild Marleigh Grace Martin; his sisters, Deb Boyd (Wade) and Sissy Barkley (Earl); his nephew Jeremy Boyd; his mother-in-law Barbara McCaffery; and his sisters-in-law, Penny and Page. He is also survived by nephew and nieces and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (73 Bethel Rd, Monticello, MS 39654).
