He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Sumrall and Cavie Mae Smith Sumrall; his siblings, Sybil Alexander (W. P.), Linda Kay Mahaffey (Dutch), Hilton and Doyle (Peggy McClelland Sumrall); and his grandson Damon Baldwin.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his brother Donnie Ray Sumrall; and his children, Billy Sumrall (Christine), Gail Sumrall Baldwin (Jimmy) and Lynn Sumrall Bozeman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
