In the vast expanse of eternity, Howard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Howard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Butler and Thelma Mae Hearn Butler. He is survived by: his son Howard Butler, Jr.; his grandchildren, Maddox Butler, Maeli-Klaire Butler, McKenzie Butler and Marilyn Butler; and his siblings, Wilburn Lee Butler, Diane Butler and Becky Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (904 W Thomas E Jolly Dr, Monticello, MS 39654). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stephens Cemetery.
