He is survived by: his wife Bonita McCoskey of Monticello, MS; his children, Brad Tanksley, Jr. (Adriane), Yvette Smith (Michael) and Rachel Pennington (Dale); his father Donnie Ray McCoskey (Carolyn); his siblings, Buddy Gibbons (Natalie), Kathy Carpenter (George), Sherry Brister (Curt), Merry Lunsford, Susan Arnette (Russell) and Jerri Montgomery (Pat); and his grandchildren, Keith Smith (Jenna), Rebekah Stephens (Lane), Elizabeth White (Bubba), Naomi Smith, Eden Smith, Addie Raye Pennington, Braylee King, Brooklyn Roberts (Chase), Billie Tanksley and Jasee Mullins (Charlie). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
