She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Holmes and Ethel Patterson Holmes; her husband Rufus Rushing; and her grandchildren, Eric Scott Rushing and Sarah Elizabeth Rushing.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis (Melissa), Keith (Eva) and Terry (Melissa).
