It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Clinton of Monticello, Mississippi, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Winston Davis Kerr and Nora Jessie Sims Kerr; and her siblings, Jessie Davis Kerr and Annie Elizabeth Ray (Becky) of Terry, Mississippi.. She is survived by : her husband James Ernest Clinton (Jim); her brother Henry Lee Kerr (Sudah) of Valdosta, GA; her daughter Rhonda Sue Harvill (Barry) of Hoover, AL; her stepchildren, Herbert Nickey Boyd (Nick) of Orlando, FL, James Paul Clinton of Daphne, AL and Anita Sharyl Donegan (Ron) of Brookhaven, MS; and her grandchildren, Brandon Marlowe Fort of Hoover and Jacqueline Eliza Fort of Hoover. She is also survived by nine step grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hopewell Baptist Church or to the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, at 1246 McCool Stevenson Road, McCool, MS 39108.
