She was predeceased by : her parents, C. O. Buffington and Edna Lee Fortenberry Buffington; her husbands, Brinson Foster and Tom Goode; her brother Charles Phillip Buffington; and her stepmother Ida Mary Buffington.

She is survived by : her children, Sandi May (Keith) of Monticello, MS and Brin Foster of Monticello; and her grandchildren, Brandon May, Lee Brinson May and Lindsey Allen Foster. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
