He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lesleigh Green, Jr. and Gladyce Donnelly Green; and his siblings, James L. Green III (Jim), Francille Trombley and Suzanne Chubb.

He is survived by: his daughters, Katherine Marguerite Green, Sarabeth Green Hall (Stuart) and Laura Green Selman (Robert); his sisters, Maureen Burlone and Elaine Rodgers; and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Kate Hall, John Stuart Hall, Robert Estes Selman III (Tripp) and Marykate Marguerite Selman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
