He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Brown; his parents, Reverend J. B. Brown and Volene Edwards Brown; and his brother Pete Brown. He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia (Corey Bell) and Amanda (Kevin Caldwell); his grandchildren, Clovie Louise and Lonnie Wayne; and his siblings, Mike Brown (Broza Brown), Doris Hopper, Miriam Brown and Lynn Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy (468 Co Rd 1650, Mooreville, MS 38857). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
