He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bailey Sr. and Ann Campbell; and his wife Margaret Alice Herrington Bailey. He is survived by: his children, William Bill'Bailey (Jan) and Paula Morris; his siblings, Cathy, Shirley, Wanda and Jerry; his grandchildren, Justin, Kristen Wilbanks (Jay Lawrence) and Alexandra Kennedy; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Hargon, Jaysia Hargon and McKenzie Wilbanks. He is also survived by stepchildren and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes - Morton (3555 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Canton City Cemetery E Semmes (226 E Peace St #4533, Canton, MS 39046).
