He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacey Robert Reid and Susan Jane Wilkerson Reid; his grandson Hunter Lane Reid; and his siblings, Roy, Raymond, Oliver, Earl, Rev. Carroll Reid, Madelyne Allen, Vera Fincher and Shelby Pettis.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Reid of Morton; his children, Becky Reid of Morton, Michael Reid of Morton and Jimmy Reid (Tonya) of Morton; his sister Vivian Coats; his grandchildren, Brian Puckett, Kendall Puckett, Keith Puckett, Jr., Zachery P. Reid and Landon J. Reid; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Kade Puckett and Taygen Slade Puckett.
