She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Mooney and Margie Mooney. She is survived by: her husband James C. Thompson; her children, Natalie Gibbs (Jeff), Melissa Dickson (John), Kenneth Thompson (Cindy) and Jamie Thompson (Julie); her grandchildren, Jeremy Gibbs (Alissa), Lindsay Marchant (Kevin), Will Thompson (Sara), Russ Thompson (Hannah), Samm Thompson, Dylan Thompson and Preston Thompson; her great grandchildren, Emma, Aubrey, Caleb, Harper, Isaac, Abby, Nora, Jonah, Tatum, McKellar, Zachary, Parker, Coleman and Carter; and her grandson Jordan Gibbs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leesburg Baptist Church (796 MS-481, Morton, MS 39117). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Leesburg Baptist Cemetery (796 MS-481, Morton, MS 39117).
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Leesburg Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
