She was predeceased by: her husband James Merchant; and her siblings, Ted Peagler, Troy Peagler, Etoile Peagler Merchant and Mary Estelle Peagler Hawley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlice Merchant Goforth (late Dale Goforth) and Celia Merchant Sheets (Dutch Sheets); her grandchildren, Leah Barter, Dax Goforth, Matt Goforth, Sarah Weinberg and Hannah Magness; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Sydney, Lincoln, Jack, Luke, Mason and Hope. She is also survived by Her two daughters, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
