He was predeceased by : his parents, Mike Comans and Beatrice Goss Comans; his daughter Melissa Hayman; and his siblings, Gladys Brooks, Willie Glenn Comans, Donald Comans and Harlon Comans.
He is survived by : his wife Janey Spangler Comans; his children, Michael Comans (Chantell) and Lakeisha Corley (Shane); and his siblings, Rachel Sanders, Mack Comans, Kendell Comans and Wendell Comans. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mississippi Care Center of Morton Nursing Home or Morton Church of God.
