She was predeceased by: her mother Lena Coats; her son Dewayne Thompson; and her siblings, Wautese Crapps and G. B. Ladd. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly White (Bobby Jack), Kathy Garcia (David) and Melissa Applewhite (Robert); her brothers, Sammy Ladd (Helen) and Billy Joe Ladd (Barbara); and her husband Arnold B. Thompson. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
