She was predeceased by: her father Kelley Cook; her children, Morgan Cook and Joseph Matthews; her grandson Zane Usry; and her brother David Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Rudy Matthews; her mother Bernie Mae Cook; her children, Monica Cook and Logan Matthews; her siblings, Lynn Mitchell, Beverly Foreman and Donnie Cook; and her grandchildren, Kaden Short, Zaylee Cook, Joshua Hayes Cumberland, Champ Usry and Waylon Usry.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wolf Funeral Services - Morton (3054 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at the Mt Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery (20938 MS-15, Union, MS 39365).
