She was predeceased by: her husband Grover Grimes; her son Donnie Franklin; her parents, Jack Parker and Estelle Parker; and her siblings, James Parker and Helen Osburn.
She is survived by: her children, Richie Paul Franklin, Randy Franklin (Cindy), Tommy O. Franklin and James Franklin (Catrina); and her sister Linda Cantrell. She is also survived by grandmother to her ten grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
