It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Ann Fitzhugh Mangum of Morton, Mississippi, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Fitzhugh and Jesse Lee Henry Fitzhugh; and her husband Walter Ray Mangum. She is survived by: her children, Steve Mangum (Gina), Stephanie Harrison (Larry) and Vicki Dixon (Johnny); and her grandchildren, Lee Mangum (Brandi), Jonathan Sawyer (Holly), Greg Mangum (Casey), Evan Mangum (Morgan) and Tyler Sawyer (Aimee). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home (295 E 1st St, Forest, MS 39074). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
