He is survived by: his wife Debra Hitt of Moselle; his son Joe Stanford (Maricel) of Sumrall; his daughter-in-law Valerie McGrew of Dallas, TX; his sister Kay Werschay of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Brandon Stanford, Blake Stanford, Bailey Stanford, Brent Stanford, Blaise Blackwell, Mattie Blackwell, Eliajah McGrew, Lemuel McGrew and Caroline McGrew. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
