He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Sr. Bankston and Effie Clarke Bankston; his brother Tracy Bankston; and his siblings-in-law, Will Singleton and Donna Bankston.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Bankston; his children, Anthony Martin Jr., Candyce Martin and Adrianna Bankston; his father-in-law John Hyland III; his siblings, Rhonda Ann Singleton, James Bankston Jr., Trent, John "Jack" Hyland and Michelle Thigpen; his siblings' children, Wendy Yeager (Neil), Chis Singleton (Angelia), Gil Singleton (Tonya), Stephen Bankston (Tasha), Stephine Thrasher (Jimmy), Haley, Christian and Teresa Thigpen; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Greenlee Yeager, Sarah Kathryn, Lyla Singleton, Caleb and Grance Richardson.
