He was predeceased by: his parents, Zada Lorraine Allen Sanford (Zadie) and Harvey Jefferson Sanford of Collins, MS; his siblings, Rodney Sanford of Laurel, MS, Wilmer Sanford of Collins, MS and Winnie Mae Sanford Hooks of Collins, MS; his brother-in-law Sammie G. Hooks of Collins, MS.; and his wife Clara Mae Miller Sanford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Michelle Turner (Bret) of Long Beach, MS, Kristi Lynn Sanford (Harold Spinner) of New Orleans, LA and Denise Hunnings (David) of Hurley, MS; his grandchildren, Michael Alexander Turner, Addison Avigail Turner and Tyler Sidney Hunnings; his sister Laverne McDonald (Don) of Collins, MS; and his sister-in-law Peggy Sanford of Collins, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
