He was predeceased by: his mother Lynn Martin Merrill; and his grandparents, Daniel Lee Merrill, Sr. and Rose Ellen Merrill. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Merrill, Nashayla Merrill (Shay) and Valerie Merrill; the mother of his children Crystal Merrill; his father Daniel Lee Merrill, Jr.; his siblings, Danny Merrill (Lauren) and Beverly Nelson (Jason); and his nephews, Andrew Davis, Daniel Merrill, IV, Brodie Merrill and Joshua Nelson.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Helena (6308 Wildwood Rd, Moss Point, MS 39562).
