With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester B. Hutchens of Moss Point, Mississippi, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Simmons and Helen Simmons (Barbara Sims Hutchens); his granddaughter Jamie Lynn Davis; and his brother John Simmons. He is survived by : his children, Cindy McMillian (Phillip), Stacy Hutchens (Angelia), Pam Wicker (David) and Danny Hutchens (Liz); his stepchildren, Gracia Easley (Harvey) and Sarah Kay Davis (Marty McCaleb); his grandchildren, Hunter Zwick, Josh Zwick, Cameron Hines, Jason Hines (Brittany), Stacy Hutchens, Jr., Daniel Hutchens (Ashton), Christopher Hutchens (Christie), Jared Burtt, April Wicker and Dawson Wicker; his stepgrandchildren, Matthieu Draven Davis, Vince Easley (Mae Beth), Andrea O'Neal and Amanda Robbins (Kell); and his sister Dana Towles (Herman). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
