He was predeceased by: his father Steve Breland; his stepmother Verlee Breland; his father Dave McCain; and his aunt Stephany Breland. He is survived by: his sisters, Abby Breland Clark (Chad), Emily McCain Higdon (Billy) and Abby McCain Browne (Jonathan); his siblings' children, Evan Tilley (Desiree), Azlynn Alexander, Owen Tilley, Chaffin Clark V, Kamdyn Clark, Jonas Shubert, Grace Higdon, Claire Higdon, William Higdon V, Maddy Jones (Chris) and Stephen Browne; his great-nephew Palmer Jones; his uncle Barry; and his aunts, Alicia Siler, Marie McCain and Rose Marie McCain.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Elks National Foundation or the Pascagoula Elks Scholarship Fund in Colby's memory.
