He was predeceased by : his siblings, William Reid Jr., Arvey Lee Reid and Pamela Reid Moffett. He is survived by : his son Daniel Edward Reid; his grandsons, Tyler Reid and Logan Reid; and his siblings, Audrey Reid Harris (Curtis), Wanda Reid Schnarrs (Kenny) and Edward Lewis Reid (Beth). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
