It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ed Cole of Moss Point, Mississippi, born in Oak Hill, Alabama, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Daniel Cole and Lydia Etheridge Cole; his wife Christine Lett Glaude Cole; and his siblings, Ada Marie Braxton, Bernice Lanier, Minnie Jenkins, Philip Milroe, Jackie Cole and Demetrie Herbert.
He is survived by: his children, Lydell Cole (Pamela), Veronica Blakes (Kenneth), Donna, Roderick Montgomery (Sheila), Keelan Cole (Yulanda), Anthony Glaude, Barry Glaude (Talvesha), Reginald Glaude, Sr. and Ryan Glaude, Sr. (Rochelle); his niece Dr. Sharon Cole-Penn (Anthony); his sisters, Edna Cole, Rebecca Reed, Lucille, Merriman, Daisy and Williams; his brothers-in-law, Melvin Lett, Sr., Parrias Jerome Lett (Violet), Miller C. Lett (Paula) and Robert Lett, Sr.; his grandchildren, Tammie, Reggie, Jr., Barry, Jr., Ryan, Jr., Carvesha, Latoria, Quintin, Lydell, Myles, Kenneth, Keenan, Kendall, Ta-Tyonna, Taonta, Demetri and Niles; and his close friend Laura Crear. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special church friends.
