He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward, Sr. Nicholson and Mattie Nicholson; his wife Mae Nora Nicholson; his sister Nettie Fantroy; his grandson Wesley Fairley, Jr.; his daughters, Artiga Quinn of Rockledge, Florida, Deborah Tyus (Michael) of Mobile, Alabama, Diane Andrews (Liston) of Moss Point, Mississippi, Shavonda Harris (James) of Spring, Texas and Syvenia Walker of Moss Point, Mississippi; and his great grandchild Sherman Nicholson (Crystal) of Gulfport, Mississippi..
He is survived by: his sister Daisy Grimmage of Moss Point, Mississippi; his father-in-law Wesley Fairley, Sr.; and his friends, Ernest Watson and Will Woods. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (3913 Macphelah Rd, Moss Point, MS 39563).
