She was predeceased by: her husband A. E. "Peter" Pierce; her grandson Dustin Eugene Pierce; her parents, E. Van Elkins and Jessie Mae Littlefield Elkins; her brothers, Michael Ray Elkins and Clarence Allen Elkins; and her siblings-in-law, Trudy Elkins and Wayne Posey.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Emswiler (Gene) and Danny Pierce (Pam); her siblings, Herman Elkins, Barbara Perry (Benny), Lynda Posey, Gladys Vice (Bill), Mary Veazey (Gene) and Johnette Scott (Marshall); her grandchildren, Andrea Sherman (Chris), Lauren Watson (Michael), Heath Pierce (Rachell), Jesse Pierce (Krista), Ashley Pierce (Josh) and Leah Daughdrill; her great grandchildren, Alex Hardwick, Bella Sherman, Gracie Pierce Watson, Parker Pierce, Abby Pierce, Annie Watson, Emmalyn Pierce, Tanner Sherman, Logan Pierce, Cora Beth Watson, Charlie Pierce, Lane Pierce, Parker Williams and Jaxon Williams; and her sister-in-law Mary Carpenter (Ronnie).
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vine Ministries (7405 MS-613, Moss Point, MS 39563). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 4:45 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
