He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles and Carl Whitt; his grandparents, Frances Ruth Petite Whitt, Gradis Whitt, Thurmon Hester and Goldie Heair; and his stepgrandfather Johnie Heair.
He is survived by: his children, Savannah Payton Whitt and Noah Whitt of Vancleave; his parents, Ricky Whitt and Vickie Whitt; and his brother Richard Whitt of Houston, Mississippi. He is also survived by two nephews and one niece; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
