It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Randolph Herring (Moss Point, Mississippi), born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Jean Harvey; his wife Ruby Herring; his daughter Wendy Lynn Herring; and his siblings, Paul and Brenda.

He is survived by: his children, Randall Herring (Jamie) and Melissa Bassham (Brett); and his grandchildren, Connor Herring (Sarah Main), Baleigh Bassham, Bentlee Bassham, Raylynn Herring and Hunter Herring.
