With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Dianne Byrd (Moss Point, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her mother Sadie Chapman Morrison; her grandparents, Lillian, Robert Chapman, Essie Rose and Norman Morrison; her parents-in-law, Reverend Kenna and Jewel Byrd; her siblings-in-law, Danny Kilgore and Pamela Faggard; and her nephew Brannon Lott.
She is survived by: her husband Gregory R. Byrd; her father Albert "Speedy" Delano Morrison; her daughters, Amanda Lundy (Tim) and Edna Lynn "Lyndi" Barfield (Ryan); her grandchildren, Blair Gentry (Steven), Raegan Williams (Lundy), Emma Lundy, Kody Barfield and Kyler Barfield; her great grandchildren, Gentri Williams and Tinsley Barfield; her siblings, Debbie Roberts (Gene), Albert "Sonny" Morrison Jr. (Cheryl) and Donna Vice (Ricky); her sister-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Kilgore; her cousin Julie Dosil; and her pet Charlotte.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (9721 MS-63, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (25400 Rosedale Church Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452).
