Margaret Alice Mizelle Obituary

We announce the death of Margaret Alice Mizelle (Moss Point, Mississippi), who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 84. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Gideon Murphy Speir and Ida Pait McDonald Speir; her parents, Betty Hubbell and Douglas A. Mizelle of Hurley; her stepfather Rev. Forrest Hubbell of Ohio; her uncle Jessie (Leroy McDonald); and her aunts, Ila Roberts and Sallie Thurman.

She is survived by: her sister Sallie Maples (Mackie) of Forts Lake; her nephews, John Maples (Alicia) and Randall Maples; her niece Deadra Fulton (DeJuan); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Jaden, Alaina Maples, Orion Maples, Laython Maples and Dylan Fulton; and her family Daisies.
