It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Hester (Moss Point, Mississippi), born in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Dozier Hester, Sr.; her parents, Leroy Hearndon and Edith Hearndon; her daughter Rene'Newman; and her grandson Franklin Dozier "Tres" Hester, III.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Hester (Kathy), Frankie Hester (Rachel), Gordon Hester (Tammy) and Tasha Fant (Robby); and her grandchildren, Mandy Carnley, Scott Hester (Emily), Chrissy Bergeron (Mitchell), Sara Hodges (Randall), Aaron Goldman (Faith), Michael Bass, Nicholas Bass, Daniel Hester (Montana), Andrew Hester, Nicole Hester, Kelly Hester, Cayden Fant and Brady Fant. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (9721 MS-63, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
